Ministers For Jesus Prayer Group was founded in 2001
by Rev. Cathryn Hughes for the purpose to unite pastors,
church leaders together in prayer.
To pray for one another in Unity.
We share prayers, our member's testimonies, and our monthly
and weekly newsletters, our member's photos and etc.
We warmly invite all Christian Pastors, Evangelists,
Elders, Missionaries, Bishops, etc. to come and join us!
We are are a non-denominational prayer group
who believes in the move of the Holy Ghost.
We have seen miracle after miracle happen through prayer
and feel it's vital for the body of Christ to unite and pray.

Praying for peace in Sri Lanka, India, Africa and in the USA. Things have gotten out of hand with the political scene here. Many forgot that those who are running for office had background checks when they were put in office and all are qualified, but many are making people out to be what they are not and we need to be praying. Many of the people have gotten radical and out of control and are running with many rumors. I pray for all of them that they become more into the love of Jesus and prayers and maturity in God to vote for who they feel but to not take things so personal and know that God will bring whom He wants to work out his will in our country. God is the only way. I VOTE FOR JESUS! :) |

Here is an excerpt from an email I received. PLEASE PRAY
Quite unfortunately, I have to let you know certain things that you will never get to know otherwise; matters of prayer pertaining to the safety of Sri Lankan Christians and pastors.
Our pastor in Kurunegala has come with the following report that contains a handful of hundreds of similar or worse conditions our people go through in Sri Lanka .
1. Pastor Roshan in Kotadeniyawa was brutally attacked and his wife paraded along the village streets absolutely naked. Both of them are in the hospital suffering from physical and mental agony. The thugs entered through the roof of his Church and attacked Pastor Roshan who asked his believers to run for their lives. This happened during the service.
2. The AOG Church in Kalutara, pastored by my friend Royston, was threatened on Sunday when ministers of parliament and monks to stop the service. Thousands of people have been involved.
3. The Middeniya Pastor and his family were attacked by over 5000 people.
4. A believer was blindfolded, put inside a white van, taken to an unknown house and was brutally attacked by monks and thugs. Later, he was told that they are going to kidnap and kill all the pastors in this fashion.
Please note that all these are done with the initiation of Buddhist monks. Please pray for us. |
